Practical buyer guide

Choose the right bangle size. Know what you are buying.

Use the sizing tool as a starting point, then confirm the actual piece, dimensions, treatment status and certificate before payment.

Measure in millimetres. For the most reliable reference, use a rigid bangle that already passes your knuckles comfortably.

Estimate size

Sizing is a starting reference, not a fit guarantee. Knuckle flexibility, hand shape, bangle width, profile and oval shape can change the fit.

01

Measure the hand, not the wrist

Bring the thumb and little finger together, then measure across the widest compressed part of the hand. If you own a rigid bangle that fits, its inner diameter is the stronger reference.

02

Read treatment disclosure

GIA describes Type A as natural or wax-polished only, Type B as acid-bleached and polymer impregnated, and Type C as dyed. Ask for the treatment status of the exact piece.

03

Use the certificate correctly

Check identity, treatment, dimensions, report number and the laboratory verification page. A report supports identification; it does not promise market value or investment returns.

04

Inspect before payment

Request daylight and close-up video. Review color, transparency, texture, fractures or stone lines, exact dimensions, shipping insurance and return eligibility for the destination.

05

Care for jadeite

When treatment status is unknown, warm soapy water and a soft cloth are the conservative choice. Avoid heat, acids and harsh cleaning methods.
